Rojales has the La Marquesa golf course, one of the oldest in the province, with 15,978 inhabitants, most of whom live in Cuidad Quesada. Rojales is the second Spanish municipality with the highest percentage of foreigners, who make up 71.75% of the registered population. As a consequence English is the most spoken language in the municipality.
